About the Role
The Campus Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, safety, and wellbeing of students participating in after-school programs. This role involves overseeing a range of co-curricular activities, providing support to both students and staff, and acting as the main point of contact for any queries or issues that may arise.
The Campus Supervisor is dedicated to creating a positive and engaging environment, fostering student participation, and upholding the school’s values throughout all activities.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and monitor the smooth running of after-school co-curricular activities, ensuring that all students are safe, engaged, and participating appropriately.
Provide support to staff and students as needed.
Serve as the main point of contact for parents, students, and activity leaders, and communicate messages or updates as required.
Address issues promptly or escalate as necessary.
Maintain a safe and secure environment for all students attending after-school activities. Ensure that all students are accounted for and properly supervised, particularly during transitions between activities.
Ensure rolls are marked for all after-school activities and follow up promptly on any missing students to ensure they are safely accounted for.
Report any absences or late arrivals to the relevant staff members.
Ensure students are in the correct locations and supervised at all times.
Communicate regularly with activity leaders, coaches, and teachers to ensure the smooth running of the programs and resolve any issues related to logistics, behaviour, or student needs.
Be prepared to respond to emergencies or incidents, following school protocols to ensure student safety and wellbeing.
Act as the first point of contact for any urgent issues that arise during the activities.
Provide or assist with first-aid as needed during after-school activities, following school protocols to ensure student safety and wellbeing.
Assist with any administrative tasks related to co-curricular activities, such as collecting forms, organising student groups, and managing resources or equipment.
Act as a liaison between the school and parents regarding after-school activities. This may include answering queries, notifying parents about changes or cancellations, and ensuring parents are aware of pick-up procedures.
Ensure that students behave appropriately during after-school activities by reinforcing positive behaviour and the school's values. Address any behavioural issues as they arise in a calm and constructive manner.
Report any potential risks to the Director of Risk.
Essential Requirements
Current First Aid & CPR Certification
Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Clipboard, SharePoint, InDesign, SchoolsBuddy and Synergetic
